Hey everyone, sorry for not posting recently, things have been kind of all over the place but I should be back to posting soon.
I've got a lot of cool post ideas lined up and I'm looking forward to them. I'm going to be trying out a bunch of new stuff and new crafts and will be posting my updates, tips and tricks, nailed it and failed it moments as well as all the many projects I have lined up for Christmas.
Recently I have been focusing on trying to get more into sewing and to learn quilting, so that's something new that should be coming up pretty soon. Other than that hopefully I will be posting a diamond art piece, some pattern designs I've been working on and any other crafts I get up to along the way.
I also really want to get back to finishing the temperature blanket I know a lot of you have been viewing posts on and I wish I had a bigger update but it got pushed to the back of the draw and I've never got around to getting it back out again. Hopefully soon I will either be continuing it or restarting with a different timeline, or maybe a new one also.
I hope some of my future posts will inspire some of you to try some of these things, and can't wait to see what you guys make as well!
Happy Crafting

Busy Bee
Sorry for the absence from my blog for the last few months, I've been really busy with college work but I can finally catch up on all my posts and I can't wait for you all to see them.
Since I haven't done many craft activities outside of college I thought I may as well make a post about what I have been doing in college. At the moment I have been studying Art, Design and Media at Newcastle College and have finished this week with distinctions across the board! And in September I will be moving onto a foundation degree in Printed and Constructed Textiles. So excited.
I also managed to finish a baby blanket for my cousins little baby girl and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! (If you want to know the pattern used please let me know and I will post it for you)
As well as this I have also been catching up on my temperature blanket (Separate post to come soon), I've also done some dress making which you can see below, and I've even managed to start to knit a scarf, but we'll see how that goes.
All the yarn used was purchased at 'Treacle Wool Shop' and all the fabric used were bought from 'The Sewing Box', both in Morpeth, Northumberland. The relocated Sewing Box store opened a couple weeks ago and I have to say it is a beautiful store with a lovely layout, well worth a pop in if you're in the area.

Temperature Blanket - January 2016
I've finally managed to catch up enough to show you all the start of my 2016 Temerature Blanket!
Since I'm only changing colours in 5 degree intervals and live in rainy old Northumberland, I haven't got that much of a colour change for this month, but I did manage to stick in a couple of different stitches for a snow day and a heavy rain day. Please hurry up spring so I can change colours!
Can't wait to see how everyone elses are turning out and to see the differences from all around the world.

Temperature Blanket 2016
This year I'm planning on doing a 'Temperature Blanket' for the first time! For those of you that don't know what this is, all you have to do is get a bunch of yarn and allocate them to a temperature range, then everyday during the year you crochet a row using the colour of the average temperature in your town or city for that day. It's super simple and the results can be amazing! You can also do a temperature blanket for special years like the first year of your marriage or the first year of your childs life.
These are the colours I have chosen for mine, but you can choose any colours you want.
All colours shown are in Stylecraft Special
I'm planning on posting regular updates to show how things are going. If you're doing one as well I would love to see your progress too!
Happy Hooking x

Welcome and Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope you have all had an amazing 2015 and that 2016 will bring you loads of happiness and joy.
This year my new years resolution is to learn a new craft every month and that is where this blog comes in. So I've decided to create this blog to document my journey, gather inspiration and hopefully inspire others to try out a new craft. I hope you all enjoy it x
